rest, rest, rest. And then rest a little more.

“You deserve a holiday after all your hard work” has to be one of my least favorite sentences ever (and I’ve said it myself far too many times).

Kicking off my career during the hustle culture craze has definitely left its marks.

But here’s the thing: We don’t have to earn a holiday or a moment of rest.

Rest isn’t a reward—it’s a must-have for a healthy, sustainable, and productive life.

Success should be less about what we achieve and more about how we care for ourselves.

If you can disconnect and recharge, don’t wait until you run on empty—and don’t save your breaks for the end of a workday or a holiday.

It’s all about setting boundaries, practicing saying “no,” and crafting little pockets of rest throughout your days.

When we are well-rested, we are more present, more compassionate, and engage more meaningfully with our loved ones and our communities.

Here's a little exercise: audit your last few weeks and spot what boosted your energy and what drained it. Find what works for you.
