how to design your ideal workspace.

I've never been a fan of working from an office, but let’s be real: I can also struggle to get work done when I’m at home.

The sensory overload from the office would leave me spending my evenings on the couch with a pounding headache, barely able to mumble a few words to my boyfriend.

Working from home is awesome on days when I have a clear plan and am mentally in a good place.

But when the stars aren't properly aligned, I’m all about procrastinating—leading to a panicky few hours of intense work just before going to bed.

So, what works best for me? Changing my surroundings often.

Whether it’s a cute coffee shop for an afternoon session, a calm co-working space for the day, or a friend’s cozy living room for a few hours, my brain is happiest and most in the flow when I take it out on a work date.

This week, I’m in Barcelona—my all-time favorite remote working city.

The sunny weather makes every stroll feel like a mini holiday, and there are countless artsy cafes and parks where I can catch up on my emails while I'm out exploring. Oh, and the locals never turn down a chat, either.

It’s a privilege to be able to travel and work remotely, and I will never take it for granted.

I’ve struggled enough with less flexibility to understand that this is a unique opportunity, and I want to make sure my work and impact are fueled by the connections and experiences I make.

If you have the option to work remotely, or even if you don't but would still like to explore how you can be more motivated and shape your work to support your productivity, feel free to reach out.
